The beard tamer

Love this campaign for the Panasonic beard trimmer by BBDO Berlin.

I've always been a fan of illustration and these are particularly good.

And the homage to circus posters is totally unexpected.

Bringing art to life

I really love this campaign for Deserres art supplies in Canada by Nolin BBDO.

The idea of using iconic and graphically strong artworks is kinda obvious to be honest.

But creating the visuals out of crayons or pastels definitely isn't.

Here's a close up of the Keith Haring pic to give you an idea of what I'm talking about.

Is selfish is good

You really need to click the pic to appreciate this ad.

It's one of the nicest long copy ads I've seen in ages. Yet it doesn't use long copy. Well not in the traditional sense anyway.

Click the pic to enlarge and see for yourself.

Lovely work by BBDO Jo'burg.

BBDO goes old school

BBDO in Italy have just launched their new website. It's a strictly old school affair.

And when I say old school that's exactly what I mean.

As the site loads you hear the sound of an old dial up modem.

Once loaded the site looks like it was programmed back in the 80s.

It's very creative. But so what!

I just don't know what a site like this is supposed to be saying about the agency.

Does it imply that they're stuck in the 80s? It certainly looks like it.

Click here to go take a look. Be sure to let me know what you think.
