Happy Halloween

Sometimes an ad can be too clever for its own good.
I suspect this one by an agency called Tempo is one of those ads.
Then again maybe I'm wrong. Because once it clicked it did make me smile.
Drink any more than two pints of Guinness however and I'm pretty sure this ad would leave you completely mystified.
It does make a change from bloody pumpkins though!

that took me an embarrassing 45 seconds to 'get'. clever though.
Bet the client approved it because it was a great product shot AND missed the idea completely!
Took me too long to get as well. And I was only trying to get it because you told me there was something to get. Thumbing through a mag, I'd say "hmmm - lame."
But odd putting car keys in there nonetheless.
ive been sitting here thinking (and normally would believe I was a relatively intelligent person): but please Stan , throw me a bone and explain what this ad is about?
Dear Anon, think about the old wive's tale that ghosts do not appear in mirrors. Then take another look at the ad.
No Stan, ghosts DO appear in mirrors... Vampires don't!

Not a big fan of the type or its positioning. And yeah... keys in alcohol ads? Really?
Got the idea straight away but the font used ... oh dear. Nice product shot ruined by bad choice of font and font size. Looks like the draft Illustrator copy layer used for mock up was flattened into the rest of the file and sent to print by mistake
