Hand Lettering

The people of Melbourne have been waiting for two years or so for the much loved beachside pub The Espy to re-open after a major renovation.

I popped in for a look around (and a beer of course) last week. The team behind the project have done a terrific job.

One thing that really caught my eye was the beautifully hand lettered signage around the place.

A bit of dig around revealed it to be the work of the oddly named Do It Baby.

It gave me such a thrill to discover craftsmanship of this kind is still alive and well in the digital age.
