I was reminded of this social media exchange this morning when it turned up as a screenshot in a text message.

To be honest I can't even recall what Socialcam is or was.

Instagram however is now pretty much omnipresent.

Proving yet again that picking a winner in the tech innovation wars is never as easy as it looks.
