Missed opportunity

Spotted this banner ad on The Age homepage yesterday.
Bit of a missed opportunity don't you think?
It can't be cheap to sponsor the Rugby World Cup.
But surely they must have had some money left over to pay for a decent ad.
I mean really. A pic of the car on the pitch with a rugby ball in front of it.
Is that the best they could do?

Don't know if you saw the Brancott Estate wine ads? The frequency was huge and it's like they spent their entire marketing budget on RWC sponsorship when to capitalise they should've/could've had several different ads instead of boring us all to death....
Here's my tweet from last nite during the Oz v NZ game:
@BrandDNA No matter how many times they run that Brancott Estate ad during the #rwc2011 it never gets any better.
If the ad was animated, and the car drove forward and kicked the ball it would be AWESOME.
Sadly it's a static banner Ben.
