Branch of books
Now that my friends is a bookshelf.
Beautiful don't you think?
It's called Bibliothèque Branche and was created by French designer Olivier Dolle.
Makes me wonder why so few designers try to reinvent the bookshelf.
After all most of us have got one.
And I bet they're all pretty much based on the same basic design.

Beautiful - though I'd need about 50 new rooms in my house to house my collection on branches like that ;)
I love it! I want one! There a similar freestanding bookcase that I saw a few months ago (http://coochicoos.com/site/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/shawn_soh_tree.jpg) - maybe that would help your space issues Gavin? ;o)
