Does football need its own tyre?

No disrespect intended to The Richards Group (who do some sterling creative work) but do we really need a poster to advertise Bridgestone as the official tyre of the NFL?

I think not. Although award juries may disagree. ;-)

Stan, award juries may well disagree, because often they judge solely on creativity or what's 'innovative'/new, etc. Oftentimes this isn't synonymous with productivity/effectiveness. An effective campaign for Bridgestone would have NFL fans losing their minds and buying Bridgestone tyres en masse. This may appeal to them. I don't know.

If I saw it in a magazine, I'd just turn the page.

Research shows that 94% of NFL fans own or know someone who owns a car. It also shows that of that 94%, 100% require tyres to operate those cars.

With an average of 4 tyres per car I think Bridgestone are on a winner!
