and your kids are obviously not teenagers yet, 'cos the word on the street (ahem) is 'whatevs'.. you know, it's not even worth finishing the word for :)
Classic stuff was hoping for actual SFX as well, as my kids are furiously making animated lego movies at the moment. Will send you the youtube links when 1st one is uploaded.
American cartoonist Wallace Wood one of science fiction and comics' finest artist, drew a ripper feature for "Mad magazine" called "Sound Effect!" in 1955. I'll scan it & email it to you. Ted.

I remember actually speaking in these terms as a kid. Especially TinTin was big. Very nice.
