Quite why Leo Burnett in Madrid would write an ad about the writers' strike I don't know.

Turner Classic Movies. TCM. A channel in America and the UK and I'm guessing where this ad was commissioned and or written? I think it's extremely clever considering what the channel is/shows and how the end line is more of an ad for TCM versus an actual message to the writers. Imagine it with out the beginning and the strike and it still works: "TCM. All the greatest movies have already been written."

that's one of them 'i wish i' ads. just shows you (well me, aspiring creative) to keep topical, watch, read, think. ideas are always in front of you.
