Overcoming immunisation


The year has only just begun and already Lynette has posted one of her always insighful slides.

On her Flickr page she talks a bit about the concept of the the immunised consumer.

Someone who subconsciously blocks out advertising.

More of a problem for adland I'd imagine than any form of ad blocking software.

Good point, Stan. People always focus on the pro-active technology-driven forms of ad avoidance don't they? And yet the more subconscious forms are pretty significant but hardly ever talked about.
