Warm 'n fuzzy thinking

It’s not often a direct mail piece leaves you feeling warm and fuzzy, but that's exactly what this great little idea for First Direct bank does.
The creatives behind this pack obviously had a great deal of fun trying to replicate the warm friendly welcome you get from the bank.
I'm having primary school flashbacks just thinking about it.
If only my bank sent me fun stuff like this, rather than mundane DL statement stuffers which always end up unread in the bin.
Top stuff from Craik Jones and Co in London.

Oh what a great idea! I remember as a kid playing with my parent's felt sets and making little scenes. Good clean fun and definitely using the best communication tool we have at our fingertips: emotion.
By the way Stan, life's been too hectic for blogging. A disappointing scenario for me, but I'll be back sooner than you can say web 2.0.
Remind me to sue them. M&C Saatchi did a fuzzy felt pack a few years ago. It's on the record, because it won awards. It's in several annuals. Craik Jones & Co obviously have a large annual budget.
