Who's killing the movie industry?

This is quite a clever ad about movie piracy for online retailer kalahari.net from FCB Cape Town.
Having said that, choosing to use Darth Vader in an ad like this is surely anything but clever.
The tagline reads ‘Piracy is killing the movie industry. Buy the original.’ Correct me if I’m wrong, but George Lucas is a long way off being bankrupt.
In fact he’s probably one of the richest men in Hollywood. Forbes magazine estimated his personal wealth at $3.5billion.
As for Star Wars, well Forbes has put the revenue generated by the the franchise at around $20billion.
So how the hell are a few pirate dvds killing George or his creation?

Alternate forms of cheaper entertainment are killing the theatre side of the movie biz. At the end of the day, people still only have two hours to read blogs, listen to CDs, go to movies, etc. Too many choices now competing for your time, you know?
They cannibalized their own product by letting home rental get out of their control. To me, ‘Own it now on DVD!’ is killing it. Used to be the normal release timeline of Movies > regular network TV took years.
Now it’s months.
They never thought Star Wars was going to be a hit. If Lucas wanted to make a film that expensive, and that different now he wouldn't have a chance.
On the other hand, Lucas is packing in films and moving into TV, just ruined my own argument, dammit.
