Keep advertising

Of course it may seem a little insensitive to pump up spending on advertising during this incredibly chaotic time but if you read the body copy of this ad it's hard to argue with it.

Obviously previous experience is no guarantee of future success. But if I was a betting man I'd definitely back the IPA.

So what better way for US peanut butter brand Jif to celebrate Peanut Butter Day than by rebranding with a limited edition run of Gif jars.

It is a brilliant example of genuinely agile thinking from agency CBP.

From brief to approved script in 24 hours. Filmed using Zoom due to corona virus issues. On air the same week.

Oh and real franchisees in the ad. Not talent.

The worm returns

Those who know me know the NASA 'worm' logo is my all time favourite logo.

In fact I reckon I wear my prized 70's NASA t-shirt every week.

The logo was retired by NASA way back in 1992.

Now it's being dusted off for a comeback!

My beloved logo will appear on the Falcon 9, the SpaceX-built rocket which will take off for the International Space Station in May.

And if there is one agency we associate with pure chutzpah from those times it is Saatchi & Saatchi.

This book tells the story of the birth, rise and rise of Saatchis.

It is a rocking read and makes modern day eat your lunch at your desk adland seem as boring as it actually is.
